Intercoolers

Intercoolers are essential for turbocharged engines, cooling the compressed air before it enters the engine. This category covers air-to-air intercoolers, air-to-water intercoolers, and performance upgrades designed for different mounting styles. Use this page to compare core size, fin density, inlet/outlet diameters and end-tank design, as well as piping routes. Key considerations include fitment to your vehicle, pressure drop, heat soak resistance and overall cooling capacity. For street or track use, check core construction, weight and mounting hardware. When comparing, verify compatibility with your turbo kit and engine bay layout, routing of intercooler piping, and maintenance needs. A well-chosen intercooler boosts air density, throttle response and engine reliability.
