About the product
This MVT front-mount intercooler is a direct replacement for the original core on Mini Cooper S F55, F56 and F57 models from 2013 onwards. Spacers are supplied to allow the thicker core to be installed.
The intercooler measures 581 mm × 234 mm, stepped, × 155 mm and has a volume of 15,540 cm³. The stock dimensions are 585 mm × 150 mm × 95 mm, with a volume of 8,300 cm³.
- MVT uses carefully placed vanes in the end tank to distribute air across the core.
- TIG-welded construction and a black coating.
- Tested on a Mini Cooper F56 S Works 210, with output rising from 210 hp and 300 Nm to 233.6 hp and 321 Nm without additional tuning.
- During the test, intake temperature with MVT installed fell from 30.75°C to 22.5°C.
