About the product

This MVT front mount intercooler is designed for the BMW 1 Series F40 M135i (2018+) and Mini Cooper S F56 JCW (17+). Its core is 70.4% larger than stock, and the black coating is described as improving heat dissipation. TIG-welded construction is used.

Designed with CAD and CFD modelling software, the MVT technology uses vanes in the end tank to distribute air across the core. In testing on a BMW F40 M135i using a Maha MSR 500 Dyno, power measured 304.8 hp and torque 448.8 Nm before installation, then 327.7 hp and 457.9 Nm after installation, without additional tuning. Intake temperature fell by 21°C, from 43.5°C to 22.5°C.
