This MVT front-mount intercooler core is listed for the VW Golf MK8 GTI and R 2.0 TSI from 2019 onwards. It is a direct replacement for the original intercooler.

The MVT core measures 60mm × 409mm × 619mm, compared with the OEM core size of 36mm × 409mm × 619mm. It is described as 66% larger than stock and has a black coating. The core is TIG welded.

MVT technology uses carefully placed vanes in the end tank to distribute air across the core. In testing on a Volkswagen Golf MK7 R 2.0 TSI, the reported power increase was 5.8hp and 15.2nm without additional tuning. Intake temperatures dropped by 28°C. The reported overall charged-air temperature drop was 101.7°C.
