About the product

The Wiha non-contact voltage detector 44309 checks for alternating voltage from 12 to 1000 V AC without direct contact. It detects live cables, cable breaks, blown fuses and defective bulbs, using optical and audible signals. Its CAT IV 1000V rating and IP67 protection rating are specified for the detector.

The multi-colour LED system indicates operating status and field strength: green shows that the device is ready, while blue, orange and red indicate weak, medium and strong alternating electric fields. An integrated torch illuminates measurement points, and a push-on clip allows pocket carry. The detector switches off automatically after four minutes of inactivity.
