About the product
The Victron BlueSolar PWM is a solar charge controller with an LCD and a 20 A rating. It uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) charge voltage control with a programmable charge control algorithm.
It has two 5 V USB outputs and a fully programmable lighting control function. Three-stage battery charging covers bulk, absorption and float, with all three stages fully programmable. The load output has programmable low-voltage and manual disconnect.
- The load output is protected against overload and short circuit.
- Reverse-polarity connection of the solar panels and/or battery is protected against.
- Connecting loads to the load output can prevent battery over-discharge: the output disconnects the load when the battery reaches a preset voltage, and the connect and disconnect voltages are adjustable.
Some loads, especially inverters, can be connected directly to the battery, with the inverter remote control connected to the load output. A special interface cable may be needed; see the manual.
