About the product

The Victron VE.Bus BMS is a battery management system for one or more Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12,8V or 25,6V batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP) in systems with Victron inverters or inverter/chargers using VE.Bus communication.

It monitors and protects batteries against overvoltage and undervoltage in individual cells, as well as overtemperature and undertemperature. The system can generate a pre-alarm for imminent cell undervoltage. In that condition, it can disable inverting through VE.Bus and other loads through the Load Disconnect terminal. For cell overvoltage or over- or undertemperature, it can disable charging through VE.Bus and other chargers through the Charge Disconnect terminal.

It also has remote on/off terminals, can disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers via a GX device, and allows multiple devices to control the VE.Bus inverter/charger. Auxiliary power input and output terminals can keep a GX device powered during system shutdown. Suitable installations include campervans, RVs, boats, welfare units and off-grid installations.
