About the product

The Victron Blue Solar PWM is a solar charge controller with an LCD and two USB ports, rated at 12/24 V and 30 A. It uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) charge voltage control with a programmable charge control algorithm.

Its three-stage battery charging—bulk, absorption and float—and lighting control function are fully programmable. The load output has programmable low-voltage and manual disconnect, and is protected against overload and short circuit. Reverse-polarity connection of the solar panels and/or battery is protected against.

Connecting loads to the load output can prevent battery over-discharge: it disconnects the load at a preset voltage. Connect and disconnect voltages are adjustable. Some loads, especially inverters, can be connected directly to the battery, with the inverter remote control connected to the load output. A special interface cable may be needed; see the manual.
