Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr is a solar charge controller for gathering and optimising energy from solar panels for storage in a battery bank. It has a maximum open-circuit voltage of 250 V and a maximum charge current of 70 A, with automatic voltage detection and programmable charge profiles.

Its MPPT technology monitors solar panel voltage and current in real time to direct available power towards storage. Smart Bluetooth connectivity enables monitoring and control through the VictronConnect App. For an internet-connected installation using a Cerbo GX MK 2, the Victron Remote Management Portal provides remote access. GlobalLink 520 may be used to monitor the controller where there is no nearby internet connection. The controller can recharge a severely depleted battery at a voltage as low as 0 V, provided its cells are not permanently damaged. A load output is available for LED lighting.
