About the product
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/60-Tr is a solar charge controller that gathers energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries. Its MPPT technology monitors the panels’ voltage and current output.
Built-in Bluetooth allows the charger to pair with a smartphone or other device through VictronConnect for remote monitoring and control. When an installation is connected to the internet with a GX device, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides remote access. Where there is no nearby internet connection, monitoring may be possible using a GlobalLink 520.
The controller can operate with battery voltage as low as 0 V, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged. An optional SmartSolar Control Display plugs into the front of the charger and provides charger and battery-storage status, real-time monitoring and set-up capabilities.
