About the product

The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/70-Tr is a solar charge controller that gathers energy from solar panels and stores it in a battery bank. It uses maximum power point tracking (MPPT), monitoring panel voltage and current output in real time to direct available power for storage.

For battery charging, it has a maximum open-circuit voltage of 150 V and a maximum charge current of 70 A. Automatic voltage detection and programmable charge profiles are included. The controller can recharge a battery with voltage as low as 0 V, provided its cells are not permanently damaged.

  • Bluetooth connectivity with the VictronConnect app for remote monitoring and control.
  • Load output and MPPT charging.
  • With an internet connection via a Cerbo GX, the installation can access the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM).
  • For installations without nearby internet access, monitoring via GlobalLink 520 may be possible.
