The Victron solar battery charging kit combines a solar panel, battery chargers, controller, cables and fuses for installation in a campervan, RV, boat or welfare unit. It is described for new installations and upgrades, and includes wire sizing for the DC-DC charger and solar controller.

The kit contains a 140 W, 12 V monocrystalline solar panel, solar corner mount brackets and a double-entry solar cable gland. Charging equipment includes a Blue Power 230 V UK Smart Charger rated at 12 V and 15 A with IP65 protection, an Orion-Tr Smart 12 V–12 V 30 A DC-DC charger, and a SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 controller.

• The controller has a maximum open-circuit voltage of 75 V and maximum charge current of 15 A.
• The DC-DC charger has built-in Bluetooth, galvanic isolation, programmable charge profiles and engine-running detection. It is suitable for lead-acid and lithium batteries.
• Included cabling: 10 m MC4 solar cable, 6 m each of 16 mm² red and black Hi-Flex cable, and 4 m each of 6 mm² red and black Hi-Flex cable.
• Also included: a 6-way Mega Fuse Holder, four 60 A Mega Fuses and two 200 A Mega Fuses.
