Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/5000 230V VE.Bus

The Victron Phoenix Inverter 24/5000 is a 230V inverter with pure sine wave output, high peak power and high efficiency. Its hybrid high-frequency technology combines high-frequency and line-frequency technologies, with a compact, lightweight design intended for professional duty.

SinusMax technology provides high start-up power for difficult loads, including refrigeration compressors and electric motors. Up to six inverters can operate in parallel; six 24/5000 units provide 24kW / 30kVA output. Three-phase operation is also possible.

The larger Phoenix Inverter models have a VE.Bus port. An ML3-USB interface connects the inverter to a PC, where VictronConnect or VEConfigure software can customise parameters including output voltage and frequency, over- and undervoltage settings, and relay programming. The relay can signal alarm conditions or start a generator. The inverter can also connect to a GX device for monitoring and control.

For automatic transfer between AC sources, Victron recommends the MultiPlus inverter/charger instead. Its switch is included, its charger function can be disabled, and its switchover time is less than 20 milliseconds. A Cerbo GX can provide remote access through the VRM portal or direct access through a GX Touch, MFD or the VictronConnect app.
