About the product

The Victron VE.Bus BMS V2 is a battery management system for Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12,8V and 25,6V batteries, in single or multiple-battery setups. It is designed for systems with Victron inverters or inverter/chargers using VE.Bus communication.

It monitors and protects individual cells against overvoltage and undervoltage, and the batteries against overtemperature and undertemperature. The system can generate a pre-alarm for imminent cell undervoltage. In that condition, it can disable inverting through VE.Bus and other loads through the Load Disconnect terminal. For cell overvoltage or temperature conditions, it can disable charging through VE.Bus and other chargers through the Charge Disconnect terminal.

Remote on/off terminals are provided. A GX device can disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers. The inverter/charger can be controlled from multiple devices, including Digital Multi Control, the VE.Bus Smart dongle and/or a GX device. Auxiliary power input and output terminals allow a GX device to remain powered during system shutdown.
