About the product
The Victron Smart BatteryProtect is a battery protection device that disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged or has insufficient power left to crank the engine.
Bluetooth programming lets you set the required engage and disengage levels. Alternatively, one of nine predefined levels can be selected with the programming pin; see the manual. Bluetooth can be disabled if required.
This is a unidirectional device: current can flow either to a load or from a charger, not both at the same time. Current flows only from the IN terminal to the OUT terminal. With a load, connect the battery to IN; with a charger, connect the charger to IN.
