About the product
The Victron SmartShunt is a battery monitor rated at 2000 A / 50 mV, with an IP65 rating and no built-in display. A phone or tablet acts as the display when connected to the VictronConnect app by Bluetooth.
It provides battery state-of-charge information as a percentage, time remaining, historical information and other monitored battery parameters. It can also connect to a GX device using a VE.Direct cable. The VE.Direct port and an additional connection can be used for monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring or a temperature sensor. The SmartShunt is presented as an alternative to the BMV-712 battery monitor.
