About the product
This MVT front-mount intercooler kit is a direct replacement for the original setup on the Toyota GR Yaris 1.6T, 2020 onwards.
It has a black coating and is fully TIG welded. Silicones and clamps are included. Carefully placed vanes in the end tank distribute air across the core. The kit was developed to improve cooling capabilities.
On the test car, the MVT intercooler recorded 286.6 hp and 393.7 nm, compared with 280.7 hp and 383 nm for the stock intercooler. Peak intake temperature was 38°C, down from 48°C. After three runs, inlet and outlet temperatures were 91°C and 24.3°C, compared with 140.1°C and 63.9°C for the stock intercooler.
