About the product

The Sealey TA302 is a 12-function automotive digital multimeter for vehicle testing and diagnostics. It measures engine RPM, dwell angle and duty cycle, as well as voltage, current, resistance, frequency and temperature.

Auto-ranging covers AC voltage from 3.2V to 600V and DC voltage from 320mV to 600V. AC and DC current ranges run from 320µA to 10A; resistance ranges from 320O to 32MO. Frequency ranges are 320Hz, 3200Hz and 32kHz, and temperature measurement runs from -20°C to +760°C.

  • RPM readings cover 4–8-cylinder, 2- and 4-stroke configurations: 600–4000 (x1)rpm and 600–12000 (x10)rpm.
  • Dwell ranges: 4-cylinder 0–90°, 5-cylinder 0–72°, 6-cylinder 0–60° and 8-cylinder 0–45°.
  • Digital and bar graph display with 18mm digits and a bright white backlight.
  • Features include overload protection on all ranges, data hold, a continuity buzzer activated below 35O and diode check.
  • The hi-impact case has an integral stand. Nett weight is 366g.
  • Supplied with an inductive coupler, test probes, thermocouple and 9V PP3 battery; low-battery indication is included.
