About the product

The Sealey TA102 is an 11-function digital automotive multimeter for vehicle diagnostics and electrical testing. Its tachometer measures 180–10,000 rpm for 3-, 4-, 5-, 6- and 8-cylinder configurations, and its dwell-angle function covers those cylinder configurations too.

It measures AC voltage from 200 to 750 V and DC voltage across ranges from 200 mV to 1,000 V. DC current ranges are 20 mA, 200 mA and 10 A; AC current measurement is not available. Resistance ranges are 200 Ω, 2 kΩ, 20 kΩ, 200 kΩ, 2 MΩ and 20 MΩ. Other functions include frequency measurement up to 20 kHz, temperature measurement from −20°C to +750°C with the included K-type thermocouple, diode checking and transistor testing.

  • Dwell-angle ranges: 3-cylinder 0–120°, 4-cylinder 0–90°, 5-cylinder 0–72°, 6-cylinder 0–60° and 8-cylinder 0–45°.
