RAC477 Powerlite high Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC477 is a pre-engaged starter motor with a power rating of 1.40 kW, 12 V voltage and 9 teeth. It weighs 3.80 kg.

It fits Land Rover petrol applications with a 2.5 engine size from 1984 to 1990. Powerlite describes its starter motors as direct replacements for original units that require no vehicle modifications; they work with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline range. Units are modified where necessary to aid fitment.
