RAC471 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC471 is a high torque starter motor with a 1.40 kW rating, 12 V voltage and 9 teeth.

It weighs 4.00 kg and fits the stated Vauxhall 20XE, C20 LET Red Top and C20XE engine applications, as well as Westfield models with a Vauxhall 20XE or C20XE engine. The stated C20 LET Red Top applications include 2.0, 2.0 Turbo and 2.2.

Powerlite starter motors are direct replacements for original units and require no vehicle modifications. They work with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline range. The compact, lightweight units are often easier to install than original units, and are modified where necessary to aid fitment.
