About the product
The Powerlite RAC463 is a high-torque gear-reduction starter motor for stated Mini fitments. It has a 1.20 kW rating, 12 V voltage, nine teeth and a fitted solenoid, and weighs 2.90 kg.
It fits Mini models with engine sizes from 850 to 1275 cc for years 1959–1982, replacing inertia starters on all models. The unit is a direct replacement for original units and requires no vehicle modifications. It works with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline range.
