About the product

The Powerlite RAC455 is a starter motor for Ford 2WD Cosworth applications, including YB, Escort, Fiesta, Orion, Sierra II and Zetec standard set-ups.

It is a direct replacement for the original when that starter has threaded mounting holes. The offset, gear-reduced design uses steel internal gears to deliver cranking torque. The unit is lightweight, compact and durable, and draws less current from the battery.
