RAC445 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC445 is a high torque starter motor with 1.40 kW power, 12 teeth and a 12 V supply. It weighs 3.90 kg and fits Ford Duratec engines with a Raceline flywheel.

The lightweight gear-reduction design offers increased cranking speeds and more cranking power than original units while drawing less current from the battery. It is described as suitable for road competition applications, particularly with tuned engines or in adverse conditions.

Powerlite starters are direct replacements for original units and require no vehicle modifications. They work with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline range.
