RAC435 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC435 is a high-torque gear-reduction starter motor with a 1.40 kW rating and 12 V voltage. It has nine teeth and weighs 4.00 kg.

It fits post-war Alvis TD, TE and TF models. The starter is a direct replacement for the original unit and requires no vehicle modifications. It works with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline range.

Powerlite describes its compact, lightweight starter units as providing increased cranking speeds and more cranking power than original units while drawing less current from the battery.
