The Powerlite RAC404A is a high torque starter motor with 1.40 kW power, 12 V voltage and 9 teeth. It weighs 4.20 kg.

Fitments stated are the Daimler Dart V8 and Jaguar V12, both with a 29mm pinion. Powerlite starters are direct replacements for original units and require no vehicle modifications. They work with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline Range.
