RAC318 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC318 is a high torque starter motor for Rover V8 applications. It has 1.40 kW power, 12 V voltage, nine teeth and a weight of 3.90 kg.

Fitments are listed for Bowler Wildcat, Land Rover, MGB, Morgan, Range Rover, Rover, Triumph TR8 and TVR, with Rover V8 engines. The motor is described as a direct replacement for the original unit and requires no vehicle modifications. It works with positive and negative polarity; this does not apply to the Slimeline range.
