RAC301 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC301 is a high torque starter motor for Jaguar XK120, XK140 and XK150 models. It replaces the small pinion only.

This 12 V starter motor has a power rating of 1.00 kW, 9 teeth and a weight of 3.90 kg. Powerlite describes its high torque gear reduction starters as lightweight units that provide increased cranking speeds and more cranking power than original units, while drawing less current from the battery.

Powerlite starters are direct replacements for original units and require no vehicle modifications, except for the Slimeline range. They work with positive and negative polarity.
