RAC101 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC101 is a high torque gear reduction starter motor with 1.00 kW power, 12 V and 9 teeth. It weighs 4.10 kg.

It fits Triumph GT6 Mk 1, Mk 2 and Mk 3, as well as Triumph TR2, TR3, TR3A, TR4 and TR4A models with a TR6 ring gear.

Powerlite describes its starter motors as direct replacements for original units, requiring no vehicle modifications. They work with positive or negative polarity, except for the Slimeline range. The lightweight units are designed to provide increased cranking speeds and more cranking power while drawing less current from the battery.
