RAC100 Powerlite High Torque Starter Motor

The Powerlite RAC100 is a high torque starter motor with a captive stud to aid fitting. It has a 1.00 kW rating, 12 V voltage and 9 teeth, and weighs 4.10 kg.

It fits Triumph TR250, Triumph TR5, Triumph TR6 and TVR Triumph 6 Cylinder Engine applications. Powerlite starter motors are direct replacements for original units and require no vehicle modifications. They work with positive and negative polarity, except for the Slimeline Range.

The lightweight gear-reduction units are described as providing increased cranking speeds and more cranking power than original units while drawing less current from the battery. They are intended for road competition applications, particularly where engines have been tuned or conditions are adverse.
