RAC024 Powerlite Dynalite Lucas C40 Type Positive Earth

The Powerlite Dynalite is a dynamo replacement alternator, in Lucas C40 type with positive earth polarity. RAC024 is designed to combine modern alternator technology with the appearance of a dynamo, and is intended to directly replace dynamo units without vehicle modifications.

It provides up to 80% more power and weighs up to 40% less than original dynamo units. The self-regulating unit charges across the full rev range. Wiring changes are simple and reversible, and the control box is redundant. It can be bypassed or used as a junction point with two small wiring changes; fitting a Powerlite dummy control box is the preferred option where applicable. Dummy control boxes are pre-wired, match the original fitment and appearance, and have a 40 A fuse.
