RAC014 Powerlite Dynalite Lucas C45 Type Dynamo Alternator Conversion Positive Earth

The Powerlite RAC014 Dynalite is an alternator conversion unit that replaces a Lucas C45 type dynamo, with positive-earth polarity.

Its output is 60 A, compared with the original dynamo's 40 A. The unit is self-regulating, so the control box is redundant. Wiring can be changed by bypassing the control box or using it as a junction point, with two small wiring changes. The preferred option is to fit a Powerlite dummy control box.
