RAC006LT Powerlite Dynalite alternator Conversion Lucas C40L Rear Take Off

The Powerlite Dynalite is an alternator conversion unit designed to replace dynamo units directly, without vehicle modifications. This model has a Lucas OEM reference, negative-earth polarity and a 40 A rating.

It is self-regulating, with charging across the full rev range. The control box is redundant. Rewiring can be done by bypassing the control box or using it as a junction point, with two small wiring changes, or by fitting a Powerlite dummy control box. The dummy box is identical in fitment and appearance to the original, is pre-wired and has a 40 A fuse.
