About the product

The Monument 455E is a tap reseating tool for re-cutting worn tap and stopcock seats without disconnecting the pipework. It fits 1/2in and 3/4in BS1010 new series and BS5412 flat and bevelled seats.

Its case-hardened cutters are supplied in several sizes: flat cutters of 17, 19, 20 and 25mm (11/16in, 3/4in, 13/16in and 1in), and bevelled cutters of 11/16in and 13/16in (17 and 20mm). The feedscrew mechanism provides fine adjustment control, and all parts are interchangeable.

The set includes two double bushes and parallel bushes for applications where internal threads prevent tapered cone entry, including taps with recessed body threads.
