About the product

The Monument 460U is a tap reseating tool for refurbishing worn tap and stopcock seats without disconnecting pipework. It re-cuts valve seats on 1/2in and 3/4in BS1010 standard taps.

The tool has a precision feedscrew for fine adjustment of cutter depth. Its tapered cones screw into threaded tap bodies; for taps with recessed threads in the body, the parallel bush series should be used instead.

  • Supplied with four case-hardened flat cutters in 17, 19, 20 and 25mm sizes (11/16in, 3/4in, 13/16in and 1in).
  • Includes two tapered cones for different tap configurations.
  • All components are fully interchangeable.
