The Makita LS1219L is a 110 V sliding compound mitre saw with a 305 mm blade and 1,450 W input power. It has a 30 mm blade bore and a no-load speed of 3,200 rpm. Its maximum mitre range is 60°–60°, and its maximum bevel range is 48°–48°; the maximum mitre cut at 90° is 92 × 382 mm.

A built-in laser guide helps align cuts. Features include a space-saving sliding mechanism, front bevel-adjustment knob, holders for wide workpieces, mitre angle lock, one-touch sliding lock and large turn base. It also has a dust extraction connection, electric brake, soft start and constant speed control.
