The Makita LS0714N is a 110 V slide compound mitre saw with a 190 × 20 mm blade and a no-load speed of 6000 rpm. Its maximum output power is 1010 W, and its smooth sliding mechanism allows crosscuts up to 11-3/4 inches wide.

It cuts wood, metal and plastic. The bevel range is 45° left and 5° right, with stated capacities of 52 × 300 mm at 90°, 52 × 212 mm at 45°, and 40 × 300 mm at 45° left. It also has a trench cutting facility, double insulation and a dust collection system that connects to vacuum equipment.
