The Makita DMC300Z is an 18 V LXT cordless disc cutter with a brushless motor and a 76 mm cutting disc. It is designed for compact cutting jobs, including thin sheet metal and pipes, and is aimed mainly at automotive repair shops, plumbing trades and air conditioning equipment suppliers.

It has a maximum cutting depth of 16 mm and a 9.5/10 mm bore size. The tool measures L271 × W104 × H182 mm and weighs 0.82 kg. Its sound power level is 99 dB(A).
