The Makita DMC300 is a cordless disc cutter with a brushless motor and a 76 mm cutting disc. It is designed for small cutting jobs, including thin sheet metal and pipes, and is described for use in automotive repair shops, plumbing trades and air conditioning equipment supply.

Features include XPT-engineered dust and water resistance, an electric brake, a soft grip, a built-in LED light with pre-glow and afterglow, constant speed control under load, and a battery protection circuit against overloading, over-discharging and overheating.
