The Makita CE004G is a cordless disc cutter with a 305 mm disc, powered by a 40 V Makita XGT Li-Ion battery system. Its brushless motor runs at a no-load speed of 5000 min-1, and the maximum depth of cut is 121 mm. The disc has a 20/25.4 mm bore.

Active Feedback Sensing Technology stops the motor if sudden movement is detected. The cutter also has an electric brake, a lock-off button to prevent accidental start-up, an LED job light and a rotatable guard that can be adjusted to suit working posture. A water supply kit can be connected; it is available separately.
