About the product

Kew Gardens Medium Anvil Secateurs are pruning shears for cutting older, hard and dry plant stems up to 15 mm in diameter.

The anvil cutting action is suited to thicker or dead woody stems and branches. The blades are made of high-carbon steel and have a PTFE coating for resistance to rust and humidity. Ergonomic aluminium alloy handles have soft grips, and the ambidextrous locking catch suits left- and right-handed users.

Overall length: 205 mm
Blade size: 60 mm
Maximum cut: 15 mm diameter

Developed in collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.
