About the product
This front-mount intercooler is designed for the Ford Focus MK3 ST250 and replaces the original intercooler. It uses Multi Vane Technology (MVT), with vanes in the end tank to distribute air across the core.
The intercooler is TIG welded. In a dyno test on a Ford Focus MK3 ST250, the vehicle’s output increased from 260.6 hp and 388.5 Nm to 274.8 hp and 423.5 Nm after installation, a reported increase of 14.2 hp and 35 Nm without additional tuning.
In the same test, the original intercooler reduced inlet air at 135°C to an outlet temperature of 55.9°C. With the MVT intercooler installed, the outlet temperature was 45.6°C, a further reduction of 10.3°C and an overall temperature drop of 89.9°C.
