About the product
This MVT intercooler core is a direct replacement for the original intercooler on the Ford Fiesta MK8 ST. It uses Multi Vane Technology, with vanes in the end tank designed to distribute air across the core.
The core volume is increased by 120%. Its TIG-welded construction is designed for strength and durability, and its development used 3D CAD and CFD modelling.
- Intercooler outlet temperatures reduced by 56%, from 46.6°C to 20.1°C.
- The test car’s output rose by 5.7 hp and 7.3 Nm without additional tuning.
The test car was a Ford Fiesta ST MK8.5. The intercooler was tested on a Maha MSR 500 Dyno. The described temperature results refer to intercooler outlet temperatures.
