About the product

The Flex SHE 16 18.0-EC C is a cordless metal shear for cutting sheet metal, including for automotive bodywork. Its brushless motor runs on an 18V battery and has a no-load speed of 950–2050 rpm, with a working speed of 5–9 m/min.

Four HSS reversible cutters provide four cutting edges each. Blade spacing adjusts to accommodate different sheet thicknesses, and the shears are designed for burr-free cutting. Maximum sheet thicknesses are steel 400 N/mm²: 1.6 mm; steel 600 N/mm²: 1.2 mm; steel or stainless steel 800 N/mm²: 1.0 mm; and aluminium 250 N/mm²: 2.0 mm.

A large hand guard and anti-kickback shutdown provide safety features; the motor stops if the tool becomes blocked. The streamlined handle has soft-grip inlays. The tool weighs 1.5 kg without a battery pack and is compatible with Flex 18V battery packs. Supplied as a bare unit without a battery, charger or case.
