Festool KAPEX KS 60 E Sliding Compound Mitre Saw 216mm 240v

The FESTOOL KAPEX KS 60 E is a 240 V sliding compound mitre saw with a 216 mm saw blade and 1200 W power consumption. Its compact design has flush-mounted guide rods, ergonomically positioned carrying handles, a cord holder and a transport safety device. A twin-column guide with two bearings guides the blade. The saw has mitre adjustment up to 60° on both sides and inclination adjustment up to 47°/46°.

Cutting depths are 215 × 40 mm at 45°/45° left, 215 × 20 mm at 45°/45° right, 215 × 60 mm at 45°/90°, 150 × 60 mm at 60°/90°, and 305 × 60 mm at 90°/90°. A cutting depth limiter is provided for grooving. The idle motor speed is 1300–3500/min; the cable is 3.7 m long, and the dust port diameter is 27/36 mm. Dimensions are 661 × 475 × 430 mm and weight is 17.8 kg.

The extraction system works in combination with a Festool mobile dust extractor to collect dust at its source. Festool saw blades are adapted to the KAPEX KS 60 and the materials being used. A UG-KAPEX base frame, available as a stand and transport frame, is also described.
