About the product

The Draper DMM402 is an insulation resistance meter for electrical testing and diagnostic work. Its auto-ranging digital multimeter functions include AC and DC voltage measurement across five ranges, from 400 mV to 1,000 V, resistance testing and continuity checking with an audible buzzer.

Insulation tests can be carried out at 100 V, 250 V, 500 V or 1,000 V. The meter has a backlit LCD and an analogue bar-graph scale, plus data hold for locking readings and automatic power-off. Diode testing is also available. The insulation testing function enables compliance testing to BS 7671 requirements for electrical installations.
