About the product
The Weller Pyropen Junior is a cordless, butane-powered soldering iron with push-button piezo self-ignition. Its temperature is adjustable by varying the butane gas flow, up to a maximum of 500°C.
It comes with a 0.5 mm tapered needle soldering tip for fine detail work and a hot air nozzle, which is useful for shrinking heat-shrink tubing. The built-in gas reservoir provides approximately one hour of continuous operation. It uses PGR1 gas refill cartridges.
An aluminium protective cap with an integrated pocket clip is included for storage and portability. The iron is described for portable precision soldering, including on-site electrical work, electronics repair and field installations.
