About the product
Vitax Compost Maker is a compost accelerator containing organic nutrients that speed up the breakdown of organic garden and household waste.
It can be used with grass cuttings, weeds, leaves, vegetable matter, egg shells and shredded woody material. The 2.5 kg pack is suitable for compost heaps, bins and plastic sacks.
- For a heap, alternate layers of organic material with the compost maker, then cover with a polythene sheet to keep the top warm and moist.
- For a compost bin or plastic sack, mix the accelerator directly with the material whilst filling.
