This straight grease nipple is made of mild steel and has a 1/4 inch BSP thread.

Used with an appropriate grease gun or other pressurised lubricant, it facilitates lubrication of otherwise inaccessible internal bearing surfaces without dismantling machinery. It also prevents lubrication back-flow and the ingress of contaminants to bearing surfaces. The pack contains 10 grease nipples.
