About the product

The Stanley Intelli Tools FatMax is a non-contact voltage detector for AC voltage from 20 to 1000 V. It detects voltage without direct contact and has adjustable sensitivity to help narrow the location of a voltage source.

The detector can also identify metals up to 20 mm away. Its stated safety ratings are CAT III 600V and CAT II 1000V. It is described for detecting live voltage in cables, outlets and junction boxes, and for locating metals such as reinforcement bars, pipes or hidden fixings before drilling.
